Projects

The requirement detail view displays all information regarding a requirement, including relationships to other requirements. You can access the detail view from the requirement list by clicking the icon in the header line.

Functional Elements in Detail

1. Header and Navigation

  • Project Name: Shows the requirement's affiliation with the current project.
  • Structure & Position: The breadcrumb navigation visualizes the placement within the project hierarchy.
  • Paging (Previous/Next): Allows quick switching between requirements within the list without leaving the detail view.

2. Core Content (Editing Mode)

The editable fields are at the center:

  • Structural Element: Define which outline point the requirement is assigned to.
  • Title & Content: The name and technical description (e.g., technical parameters or standards).

3. Networking and Metadata

The right sidebar provides context:

  • Parents and Children: Visualizes hierarchical dependencies (parent and sub-requirements).
  • Tags: Categorization via keywords for quick filtering.
  • Discussion & Comments: Enables direct exchange within the team.

4. History and Safety

  • Version History: Logging of all changes including timestamp and editor.
  • Delete Requirement: Removes the requirement from the current working state (it remains historically preserved in snapshots).
