Using the Activity Feed

Projects

The Activity Feed on your homepage is your central cockpit. It automatically informs you about progress in all projects you have access to – without you having to open each project individually.

Core Areas of the Feed

1. Active Projects

In this area, you see projects that are currently being worked on. It lists changes that have not yet been distributed via a team update or frozen via a snapshot.

  • Changed Requirements: You can see immediately which requirement IDs and titles have been edited.
  • New Comments: Team discussions are highlighted directly. You can expand comments to quickly grasp the content.

2. Archived Projects

Projects that have been given the "Archived" status are listed separately. These are completed projects that you can still view (read-only) but no longer actively edit. The feed shows you archives from the last 3 months.

3. Deleted Projects

When a project is deleted, it disappears from your active project list. The feed displays projects deleted within the last 3 months.

The Logic: Team Updates and Snapshots

The activity feed is based on intelligent "delta logic." It considers the difference between the current work status and the last documented milestone.

What resets the feed?

Two actions cause a project to disappear from the feed (as the information level is then assumed to be "known"):

  1. Sending a team update: When you inform the team about the current status, this timestamp is set as the new reference point.
  2. Creating a snapshot: A snapshot freezes the state. The feed is reset here as well.

Note: The feed is your "inbox" for unresolved or new changes. A team update is the "archiving" of this inbox. A snapshot is the "recording" of a specific project state.

Based on the system logic, an active notification in the feed looks like this:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

As soon as you send a team update or create a snapshot, the 'counter' for that project is reset. The feed only shows changes that occurred AFTER that point in time.

Deleted projects remain visible in the feed history for 3 months so you can track when a project was removed from the active list.

No. Archived projects are in read-only mode. You can access and view them via the feed, but you can no longer change requirements or add comments.
